      “You can say that again.” Words are spoken mindlessly as she picks through her basket of fries ( at first, she’d offered to share – but after careful reconsideration she ordered her own – they’re THAT addictive ). It’s one thing they’ve truly connected on – the fact that neither is willing to drink a salad & call it a meal – & perhaps thats why she’s hung on to him as long as she has. He’s a reminder of home, even though he’s never set foot in Tree Hill before – but he’s different than everyone in Los Angeles – & so is she – & over that, they connect
